PETER McGLADE B. Bus, CPA, CD
Peter
holds a Bachelor of Business degree from the WA Institute of Technology
(now Curtin University), is a member of CPA Australia and of the Discussion
Group of the Insolvency Practitioners Association of Australia.
Peter joined Melsom Robson in February, 1985 after an initial career in commercial accounting. During his time with the firm, he has had carriage of, managed or supervised most corporate administrations such as Receiverships, Members’ & Creditors’ Voluntary Liquidations and Voluntary Administrations (ie Deeds of Company Arrangement) as well as individual Bankruptcy and Part X administrations carried by partners of this firm.
He is acknowledged as the firm’s most knowledgeable and senior team member, always willing to accept significant responsibility for all difficult or complex administrations. In that regard, his well regarded expertise provides great depth to our team as a whole.
Prior to joining the firm, Peter had worked for nearly 11 years with a multinational group of companies in the petroleum/ chemical industry. While there, he worked in various areas of administration including credit, product/ stock control and planning & appraisal/ budget expenditure in regard to company involvement in the North West Shelf project in the early 1980’s.
Married to Marilyn and father of two adult children, Peter devotes his spare time to computers, genealogy, languages, gardening and family activities.
