Stanley Frederic Robson CA, FCPA, MICM A member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and Fellow of the Society of Certified Practising Accountants, Stan is a Registered Trustee in Bankruptcy, Registered Liquidator and Official Liquidator with the Supreme Court of WA. Stan joined our predecessor firm in 1978 as a manager, from the office of the Official Receiver in Bankruptcy, where he held the position of Deputy Official Receiver for Western Australia. He became a naming partner of this firm in 1985. Stan is widely respected by his peers, credit managers and clients and is recognised as an icon of the profession in Western Australia. The quality of his work over the years has resulted in a very loyal group of work referrers, among them a significant number of accounting and legal practices. As a consequence of his dedication, Stan has had many successes, one of his better known being the Part X administration of a well known Bunbury identity, who had liabilities in the region of $25 million. That administration was notable in that not only were creditors of the administration repaid in full, but where applicable, received interest on their debts as well. A father of two sons, both of whom are also Chartered Accountants, and grandfather of three, now retired from the Rotary Club of Scarborough and other community service groups, Stan currently devotes his spare time to his love for car racing. Stan owns a race-equipped MGB and sometimes manages to find time to spend on his boat. A heart attack some years ago has not slowed Stan down and he can often be found jogging his way around the streets of Port Mandurah. Similarly, notwithstanding his retirement as a partner, Stan still spends several days each week at our offices and being actively involved in his various ongoing administrations, or consulting for the firm on new matters. |
